While in college I use to go for taraweeh in Ramzan and listen to the holy Quran every year but since last 3 years working in night shift I couldnt do so. Last year in the month of Ramzan I had a strong desire to read/recite Quran. For the first few days after namaze Fajr I recited single chapter of Quran. It gave me immense pleasure when I actually read it with its meaning. As I know urdu it made sense for me to recite a single aayath of Quran in arabic and then read its translation in urdu and understand. This was good as I was eager to know what is it we recite in namaz and what it is it we recite in taraweeh and what lessons does Quran teach. It was interesting but then it was getting hard to take out time specifically after fajar and stay in mosque to recite so I searched online as I am an internet freak and I found an amazing website where you can read/listen holy Quran.

Wow!! that was a gift forn my eyes, ears and soul. I can actually read & listen to Quran in the original language and read/listen to translation of my choice whether english/urdu. And when I am done for the day I can auto bookmark and commence from that point tomorrow. This is great.
I believe those who want to know what's in Quran and what's the power behind each verse written in it, must surely explore this site. This is free and works amazingly.

WHY AM I MUSLIM
Hi All
As a muslim it struck to me that I must put efforts in spreading the knowledge of Islam and bringing together on a single stage what all exist on the internet about Islam. I wish to bring information already available on internet from various blogs, videos , articles and so on... which will enhance your understanding of Islam.
